FT-IR Bruker Alpha Platinum-ATR
For first-time users, please get in touch with the person responsible for the machine (for FTIR, it's Prof. Tarmo Tamm, room 328). If you need any guidance for the OPUS software in the FTIR laptop, which is needed to operate this machine, ask your fellow students and colleagues.
Here is a tutorial Acquiring and Processing FTIR Spectra that is sufficiently detailed to cover all the steps (one exception is you need to click start measurement twice; the second time the option appears at the bottom of the application window).
