In this week i spend some time in understanding the Navier-Stokes Equations (NSE). NSE is needed in our flow-cap model in order to introduce the mixing of slurry while charging.

To find out the exact boundary conditions for the model interfaces i read about it through different available materials and realized that the change in the velocity of the slurry or the carbon phase will cause convection and diffusion as the transport mechanism and also there is some internal pressure development in the flow channels. This pressure development in the flow channel was recently investigated by using Reticulated vitreous carbon (RVC) electrodes in the flow channel [Here] . The pressure value was dependent on the viscosity change of the slurry due to RVC presence.
