Location: Room 326

For first-time users, please get in touch with the person responsible for the machine (for FTIR, it's Prof. Tarmo Tamm, room 328).

If you need any guidance for the OPUS software in the FTIR laptop, which is needed to operate this machine, ask your fellow colleagues. For operating and measuring you need two passwords - one for the FTIR-attached laptop and other for the OPUS software.

Here is a general tutorial Acquiring and Processing FTIR Spectra that is sufficiently detailed to cover all the steps. There are two exceptions - you need to click Start Sample Measurement TWICE; the second time the option appears at the bottom of the application window).
